What you'll learn & make:

Who is this suitable for: Keep your little ones away from screens, using their imagination & developing fine motor skills...let them make a mess you don’t have to clean up after!!!

‘Little creatives’ sessions...with over 10 years teaching experience we have got the perfect sessions for our younger ones! Aimed specifically at 8-16 year olds... sessions have been designed to develop the following;

Introducing children to the sewing machine,
measuring & counting,
cutting & following lines with precision,
exploring different stitches
Building confidence with the sewing machine
Learning sewing terminology

* Children must have previously attended an introduction to sewing in order to attend any of the other sessions as the basics will not be covered in these sessions! If you attend without the relevant experience regrettably you will be asked to leave in the interest of safety.

Fantastic class

My 7 year old has such a creative streak, I wanted to do something that would interest her in the half term holidays. This introduction to sewing class was amazing. Exactly the right pace, with exceptional instructors who were both patient, friendly and encouraging.
I can't recommend it enough. Penny now has the sewing bug and has asked for a sewing machine for her birthday - so we will definitely be back!

Great experiences

The first time my daughter used a sewing machine was in the summer at the introduction to sewing session. She has now been to five different sessions and improved each time. The staff are patient and instructions are clear. My daughter has now asked for a sewing machine for Christmas. Thank you to all at the sewing institute!

Amazing workshop!

We had such an amazing time at this morning’s session. My daughter had never used a sewing machine before so was a little apprehensive to start. However she needn’t have worried as the lady who took the class was so lovely and patient. She absolutely loved it and the end product was stunning. We will definitely back very soon to complete more sessions and a sewing machine has been added to the Christmas list. Thank you!

Fabulous workshop

My daughter has done a few of these workshops, they are excellent. The projects are challenging enough but can be achieved in the time as the support is excellent. She always comes away with something she is so proud of and I am so pleased she is developing the skill of sewing.
Excellent value too.

Unfulfilled order

I am a little concerned as I booked this workshop for the 7th August so it has not occurred yet. I did have a separate order for various items which I have collected.
