What you'll learn & make:

Who is this suitable for: Keep your little ones away from screens, using their imagination & developing fine motor skills...let them make a mess you don’t have to clean up after!!!

‘Little creatives’ sessions...with over 10 years teaching experience we have got the perfect sessions for our younger ones! Aimed specifically at 8-16 year olds... sessions have been designed to develop the following;

Introducing children to the sewing machine,
measuring & counting,
cutting & following lines with precision,
exploring different stitches
Building confidence with the sewing machine
Learning sewing terminology

* Children must have previously attended an introduction to sewing in order to attend any of the other sessions as the basics will not be covered in these sessions! If you attend without the relevant experience regrettably you will be asked to leave in the interest of safety.

Amazing workshop!

We had such an amazing time at this morning’s session. My daughter had never used a sewing machine before so was a little apprehensive to start. However she needn’t have worried as the lady who took the class was so lovely and patient. She absolutely loved it and the end product was stunning. We will definitely back very soon to complete more sessions and a sewing machine has been added to the Christmas list. Thank you!

Fabulous workshop

My daughter has done a few of these workshops, they are excellent. The projects are challenging enough but can be achieved in the time as the support is excellent. She always comes away with something she is so proud of and I am so pleased she is developing the skill of sewing.
Excellent value too.

Unfulfilled order

I am a little concerned as I booked this workshop for the 7th August so it has not occurred yet. I did have a separate order for various items which I have collected.

A fantastic afternoon!

My 9 year old daughter and I attended two classes this week. We’d originally only booked the introduction to sewing class, but had such a good time, my daughter begged me to book another! The pace of the sessions was just right, with opportunities for those who were confident (not us) to move along more quickly and those who were less confident (definitely us) to have more time. As well as the knowledge and skills required for each of the projects, troubleshooting and rectifying mistakes was also covered. We met Lucy, Katie and Jo, all were kind, knowledgeable, patient and helpful. We had a really wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. We can’t wait to come again!
PS The shop they have is second to none too. Filled with with an urge to try out our new-found skills at home, we left with extra supplies.
