Jersey Dressmaking Workshop

Location: Ymca Lytham, Mythop Road, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, FY8 4HB
Cost: From £55: Includes all materials (based on doing a T-shirt, other material choices/patterns may incur extra costs paytable on the day)
choose from a number of patterns either a Raglan T-shirt, standard T-shirt (male, female or child’s), hoodie, cardigan or jersey dress; Instructions on preparing your pattern for the workshop will be sent on the confirmation email.
What you'll learn & make: Learn an abundance of basic dressmaking techniques; how to lay & cut out pattern pieces, stretch stitches, creating seams, hems, attaching a neckband, cuffs, twin needle, topstitching. Choose from our basic range of jerseys, Ponte Roma or sweat-shirting.
The timings of this workshop should enable you to leave with a finished product but each person will work at a different pace so please be aware you may have tasks to complete at home to finish your garment.
Who is this suitable for: Over 16's- Confident beginner- This workshop doesn't require you to have any existing dressmaking knowledge but you must be able to use a sewing machine confidently.
