Beginners Dressmaking Day (Pants or Skirt)

Cost: £60: Includes up to 2m of fabric, printed pattern Choose from skirt, or lounge pants
Who is this suitable for: Over 16's- This course is perfect if you have sewn before or if you have attended the some beginners workshops & would like to extend your sewing skills further into dressmaking or have dressmaking experience & would like to try new patterns/styles/materials etc
What you'll Learn & Make: for this session we have selected 2 size inclusive dress patterns to give you choice in which style pattern suits you, the session involves key tutor demonstrations to give the session structure & core skills are learnt! Both patterns with cover; pattern layout & notches, hip pockets, understitch, seams, seam finishes, elasticated waistbands, hems (& skirt- gathering).
A great base workshop for beginners or returning dressmakers.
The timings of this workshop should enable you to complete the garment within the session but each person will work at a different pace so please be aware you may have tasks to complete after the session finishes.
