Beach Bag Workshop

I wanted to make this beach bag, and am absolutely delighted with the finished product. I can’t recommend this workshop enough. I learned lots of new skills, and Lucy, and Katie, were fantastic teachers, taking time, and patience with us all. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. If you are thinking about attending this workshop, stop thinking and do it, you won’t regret it.

I attended the workshop over a week ago, been on holiday since and used it for all sorts whilst away. Katie explained everything superbly with clear instructions. I learned new skills inserting the pocket zip and we all got Lucy’s tips for finishing the turning out of the zip (can’t remember the technical name for this!) I did make a mistake at the end (because I was rushing) but I felt confident enough to easily correct it at home later. Love my bag and feeling inspired to try other bags now I’ve learnt how to use webbing and added magnetic clasps and keychains.

This was a fabulous workshop. Each person’s bag was individual with some having added extras of zip pockets/key chains etc. I didn’t complete mine during the workshop but had the instructions, materials, but most of all confidence, to finish at home. Technically a beach bag - mine is perfect for carrying sewing projects to more workshops! Highly recommend!
